This page looks rough because it was launched quickly on November 30, 2025, with one specific goal: to organize the political spectrum of the United States so that it aligns with the rest of the world. If you are interested in running for office, you can visit:https://vendors.repmyblock.org
In the United States, Left and Right as well as Red and Blue mean something very different from how these concepts are understood in Europe. This website was created to correct these differences in perception so that we stop comparing apples to oranges when discussing politics.
Standardizing the terms Left, Right, Red, and Blue is essential. Rep My Block uses the European political classification model in its voter guide.

The United States doesn’t have a political center, which is why we created the
Politics Center—to provide a reference point for any
group that does not fit into an existing caucus.

Our objective is simple and direct: to have every major political tendency recognized as an official caucus within both the Republican and Democratic parties, using the European political classification model as the neutral standard.
The European Parliament publishes a classification of its political groups whose ideological families closely mirror American caucuses in both parties. You can find this model here: https://www.europarl.europa.eu/about-parliament/en/organisation-and-rules/organisation/political-groups.
The French Ministry of the Interior publishes a national glossary of political nuances, used by public institutions and the press to standardize terminology across France. It can be found here: https://www.legifrance.gouv.fr/download/pdf/circ?id=45565.
